IEEE Women in Engineering (student branch at University of Melbourne) and Victoria Girl Geek Coffees (RMIT & University of Melbourne branch) organized a free presentation workshop. This workshop is particularly suitable for those who wish t o improve their presentation skills and speak with greater depth to grasp the audience attention. Our guest, Jacinta Richardson, will help us:
Control speaking fears and develop inner calm.
Manage eye contact, pausing and silence.
Speak authentically from the heart.
Identify your personal strengths and use to your advantage.

Who is our guest?
Jacinta Richardson is both a programmer and a senior trainer. She has more than 10 years of commercial Perl and teaching experience. Jacinta is a qualified software engineer, specialising in course development, requirements analysis and client liaison. Currently she spends almost a full half of her time on the road training, speaking at conferences etc. She enjoys helping other people learn or improve these skills. She is a specialist in Perl, course preparation, design and training, PHP, C, C++, databases, project development, client liaison, client support, management, technical writing and presentation.
Who can attend?
Open to all female students studying in VIC and males student accompanied by a female student.
